Serves as Chief of the Integration & Operations (I&O) Division.
- The Chief manages assigned directorate operations and functional areas including but not limited to Cyber, Information Technology, Facilities Management and Logistics, and Information Management across AFRL/RY organizations and facilities, and is responsible for the effective execution of many directorate processes.
- Represents the Director, the Directorate, and its tenants on Wright Site installation operational issues as the main action officer.
- Facilitates inquiries and resolutions to interactions at the DoD, USAF, AFMC, AFRL headquarters and other directorate levels.
- Develops Directorate processes and policies as needed or requested for all aspects of Directorate operations and resource management.
- Advises Division and Directorate leadership on resource allocation options to resolve issues or shortages in order to provide America’s superior Air Force intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, precision engagement, and electronic warfare systems capabilities.
- Provides policy and procedural guidelines for the entire Division.
- Allocates Division budget.
- Establishes internal policy to ensure a coordinated work effort within the Division.
- Independently identifies opportunities for strategic and tactical improvements to I&O and directorate processes and implements opportunities within span of control.
- Initiates/facilitates enterprise collaboration with other organizations across the AFRL enterprise to best utilize scarce resources by leveraging other AFRL expertise in assigned I&O areas.
- Provides senior-level written and verbal communications for a variety of internal and external purposes.
- Manages personnel both directly assigned as well as matrixed for various initiatives.
- Leads or serves on additional teams, task forces, and studies as directed.

Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship.
- Position will be filled using occupational series within the 0301, Miscellaneous Administration and Program series career field.
- Official Title will be Supervisory Operations and Integration Division.
- Applicant must be able to meet the OPM Qualification Standards of the position being filled. Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standards can be found at: General Schedule Qualification Standards (opm.gov).
- Applicants must have least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade DO‐03, or equivalent in other pay systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI/SAP security clearance as a condition of employment.
- Ability to perform TDY travel approximately 10% of time.
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent will be subject to random testing.
- Experience in coordination of classified projects and facilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and senior leader audiences.
- Position is eligible for situational telework and will require routine mission travel, regular classified engagements, and in-person meetings that cannot always be scheduled around a regular/recurring telework schedule. Employee must live within the commuting area of Wright-Patterson AFB.
- The incumbent of this position will report to the Director, AFRL/RY.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree highly desired.
- Experience leading teams.
- Experience working with Scientist and Engineers within DoD Research and Development organizations.
- Served as a first level supervisor for a minimum of three years.
- Experience in managing contracted projects.
- Knowledge of Department of Air Force technology and acquisitions integration and operations stakeholders including Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Headquarters organizations, and Major Commands.
