Position Duties include, but are not limited to:
Develops complete strategic, technical and tactical resource plans to support acquisition programs assigned to the Center
Provides IT technical guidance, advisory support and assistance on a wide range of IT management issues
Interprets Air Force acquisition policies, logistics and program management directives in support of super computing procurement and operations.
Manages day-to-day operations of headquarters service contracts, to include collaborating with technical staff in requirements and risk management efforts, monitoring financial execution, contract performance, and analyzing contractor deliverables, reviewing financial and non-financial program data to determine whether projects are accurate and overall system performance is being achieved as projected.

Required Qualifications
- US Citzenship
- Acquisition Program Management Specialist (1101): to meet the eligibility for an Acquisition Program Management Specialist, applicants must meet the following basic requirements. Experience in support of projects, programs or assignments providing a requisite knowledge of contracting, acquisition, procurement, purchasing or related functions of the position to be filled. - Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lowest grade level or equivalent grade level of the position being advertised
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance
- Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov
Desired Qualifications
- Specialized blend of advanced computing knowledge, stringent compliance, and leadership expertise
- Managing critical aspects of system development, production, and/or deployment; handling budgets (PPBE process); and coordinating with functional specialists like engineering and contracting
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Management is highly desired
