The Warfighter Integration Branch plays an integral role in leading the discovery, development and integration of transformational warfighting capabilities for our air, space, and cyberspace force that enable warfighters to leverage the now and beyond. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated scientists and engineers to bring expertise in applying data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to convert both historical and rengal-time, operational data sources to insightful, relevant, and digestible knowledge through state-of-the-art learning techniques and visualizations for data-driven decision-making, modeling and simulation, and predictive forecasting.

Position duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical solutions for decentralized secure information dissemination capabilities that can utilize information provisioning layers in conjunction with agile communication capabilities and data analytics to provide a fully dispersed, mobile, operations environment for timely, accurate, actionable data-to-decisions.
  • Serve on interdisciplinary, multi-organization collaborative research teams utilizing computer/data science/engineering concepts to include programming, probability and statistics, data analytics, algorithms development, and/or advanced AI/ML technologies.
  • Design and document software interfaces, APIs, and libraries to enable ingestion, management, analysis, dissemination, integration, and transformation of raw data to usable knowledge.
  • Develop, conduct, and analyze bench-level and end-user developmental tests and demonstrations as well as participate in operational experiments/assessments, as dictated by the maturity of the research.
  • Prepares reports, briefings, and papers for sharing research and programmatic information with customers, peers, management, industry, and academia.

Required Qualifications

  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Top Secret security clearance
  • This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing
  • Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited academic institution
  • One year of specialized experience equal to the DR-I, GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized Experience is experience directly related to the position that was performed at a level equivalent to the grade directly below the position.
  • This is an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) position that requires Practitioner Level certification in Engineering & Technology Management (ETM). The selectee will have two years to meet ADPD requirements
