· Identifies potential, actual problems and probable causes and provides recommendations for resolution
· Performs administrative tasks (e.g., filing, timekeeping, organizing/coordinating meetings and conferences, ordering office supplies, records management, etc.)
· Revise procedures, guidelines, and controls as a result of changes in higher level procedures.
· Uses various database software to prepare a variety of documents
· Receives, reviews and processes incoming and outgoing correspondence, reports, and other materials submitted for the FOG signature
· Facilitate and coordinate the routing and accuracy of all procurement packages, Statement of Capability (SOC), memorandums, Staff Summary Sheet, reports, etc. requiring RI front office signature
· Assists RI executive officers in maintaining Director and Deputy Director calendars, coordinates meeting arrangements, and schedules meetings and/or conferences including those involving staff from outside the directorate for the Top 6 and front office team.
· Collaborate and assists Executive officers, DAG, and Protocol officer in planning, and coordinating directorate events.
· Provides administrative support to RI Top 6 (Director/Commander, Deputy Director, Deputy Commander, Chief Scientist, Associate Director, and Chief Engineer), performing various administrative and clerical duties in support of the information Directorate
· Mentor RI secretaries in preparing administrative tasks

Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov
- Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-4, or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized Experience is experience directly related to the position that was performed at a level equivalent to the grade directly below the position
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to streamline and create efficient processes for RI front office and directorate
- Ability to deal with complex, non-standard situations and environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience working with video conferencing services such as MS Teams, Webex, and Zoom in a Windows PC environment
- Ability to develop and maintain paper-based and computer-based recordkeeping systems
- Ability to track, prioritize, and execute multiple simultaneous responsibilities in various parts of the organization
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Reliable maintenance of confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems and flexibility to accommodate the demands of various tasks
- Demonstrated abilities to work with teams and resolve conflicts/problems
