The Air Force Research Laboratory, Information Directorate Logistics Readiness Branch (AFRL/RIOL), is seeking to fill a DO-2010-01, Inventory Management Specialist position located in Rome, NY. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Supply Analyst for the Equipment Accountability section (AFRL/RIOLE).

 

Roles and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Research customer requests to determine classification, accountability coding, and asset identification. 

  • Utilize multiple Air Force and DoD systems in determining asset identity and accountability.

  • Monitor supply transactions using an applicable supply system of record. 

  • Track, monitor, and maintain documents in accordance with applicable DoD and Air Force guidelines.

  • Conduct analysis on supply transactions utilizing data from multiple supply systems of record, local business tools, and DoD approved data systems.

  • Develop and present logistics analysis to higher level supervisors during monthly logistics readiness review meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • United States Citizenship.

  • Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.

  • Must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the DU-02, or equivalent in other pay systems.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency with current Air Force Accountable Property Systems of Record.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Air Force operations, objectives, principles, and methods.

  • Knowledge of supply operations and program requirements.

  • Knowledge of, and proficiency with, established supply IT systems includes the following systems: Defense Property Accountability System, Integrated Logistics Support - Supply, Logistics Readiness Tool Kit.
