Join our team leading the transformation of our Digitial Capabilities Execution Directorate. We are looking for an Associate Director for Resource Management in the IZH High Performance Computing Shared Reource Center.
Position Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Serves as Associate Director for Resource Management in the DoD High Performance Computing (HPC) Modernization Program (HPCMP).
- Directly responsible to the HPCMP Director for leading the resource management element and the requirement's development process of the HPCMP.
- Performs work requiring the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles and processes in providing technical direction, guidance and advice in support of the design, development, procurement, production, integration and operation of HPC.
- Uses expert knowledge of computing systems and DoD S&T, T&E and acquisition goals to lead the annual user requirements gathering process and allocation of supercomputing resources (computational hours) to DoD services/agencies.

Required Qualifications

Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower level or equivalent grade level in the Federal system of the position being advertised.
Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance

This position is an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) position.
