Job specifics include, but are not limited to:
- The SBIR Training & Standardization Manager position works within the AFVentures Open Topic Branch to manage mission training & standardization requirements across the Open Topic SBIR program, which also includes STTR.

Specifically SBIR mission areas include:
- training technical evaluation (i.e. source selection) augmentees to ensure SBIR proposal evaluations are high quality, appropriate, and consistent;
- Technical POC (TPOC) training to effectively monitor and transition SBIR Phase IIs;
- SAGE Fellow training to guide and educate small businesses;
- Other SBIR mission requirements as the mission grows.
- This position will develop, implement, maintain, and assess all aspects of the SBIR mission training program for thousands of training recipients.
- This position will devise an overarching mission training strategy, oversee its implementation, and assess its outcomes.
- This position will identify mission training and developmental needs, then drive suitable training initiatives that result in measurable improvements and optimization of organizational output.
- This position will work across various functional groups and teams to document and train (or facilitate training) in both vertical and horizontal organizational processes.
- Specific tasks include: identifies and monitors SBIR mission training needs, and designs, plans, implements relevant training programs to fulfill those needs; oversees the transformation of disparate organizational processes into standardized mission training and evaluation materials; develops and maintains mission orientation program; manages mission certification requirements and ensures organizational currency in accordance with established requirements; conducts or facilities required and recommended training sessions; leads across teams to maintain SBIR mission training records, standards, and policies; maintains expertise and self-leadership in modern training techniques.

Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the DO-01/GS-11 or equivalent grade level.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
