The 711th Human Performance Wing is hiring a Supervisory Acquisition Program Manager. The incumbent will serve as the Chief, Program Support Division in the Management Operations Directorate.
Postion duties include:
- Serves as Chief, Program Support.
- Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the 711 HPW Program Support Office (located in 711 HPW/OMP), providing acquisition support.
- Directs the activities of the organization with responsibility the development of major aspects of key Air Force programs of national significance and/or essential operating programs.
- Manages 711 HPW programs that are a hybrid between acquisition and procurements, and are monitored by over two hundred federal and state regulatory agencies.
- Works jointly with customers on unusual managerial complexities and demands, as well as, substantial uncertainties and risks associated with assigned programs.
- Represents 711 HPW programs with higher levels within the organization and contractor organizations.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with other coordinating organizations.
- Works in conjunction with the contracting officer to approve terms and conditions set forth in contract negotiations, contracting plans, budget, and changes to the scope of work to be done by the contractor.
- Incumbent is responsible for providing worldwide contract management support to 711 HPW detachments and operating locations.

Required Qualifications
- This is an APDP position requiring Level II Non-Critical certification in Program Management (A).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Must have government contracting and program management experience.
- Experience in supervising personnel, and or leading and assigning tasks, prioritizing work and delegating as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of AFRL and or the 711 HPW preferred.
- Comfortable working with Senior Leaders across multiple organizations.
