The HQ Operations Support Division (DSH) seeks to fill the mid-level, DO-03 position of Management Analyst (Commanders Support Manager) located within the HQ AFRL Director of Staff (DS) office at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The individual will serve as the Commanders Support Manager directly supporting the commander/director by managing and integrating administrative, personnel, and operational programs to enhance the unit's overall efficiency and mission success.
Additional position duties include, but are not limited to:
Serves as the subject matter expert for mandated administrative support programs, ensuring compliance with policies and acting as the primary liaison with military and civilian personnel offices.
Responsible for planning, evaluating, and recommending resource policies for military personnel activities, conducting management surveys, and providing advisory services to address personnel-related challenges with a broad organizational impact.
Leads the Unit Command Center (UCC) during exercises and real-world scenarios, oversees the Enterprise Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Personnel Recovery Management System (PRMS) programs, and represents the organization in meetings, conferences, and working groups.
Develops and evaluates unit exercise objectives, coordinates readiness efforts, and serves as the primary Wing Inspection Team (WIT) representative.
Leverages technology to enhance operations, utilizing tools to create databases, design digital workflows, automate processes, and streamline daily activities.
Training and supporting staff in adopting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
Key liaison between the organization, command section, subordinate units, and external agencies, ensuring alignment of objectives and facilitates effective communication and collaboration across all levels.

Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance.
- This may be identified as a drug testing designated position. The incumbent may be subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.
- At least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade (DO/DR-02 or equivalent) in other pay systems.
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's or advanced degree in a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience and knowledge in programming languages (i.e. C++, VBA, Python, etc.)
