The salary range for this position including Dayton, OH locality is (DR-2 $90,742 - $142,488).
This position will be filled using DHA for all qualified DR-02s at their current grade level.
The AFRL Sensors' Directorate is looking for a team-oriented engineer to support the OneRY Range in designing, implementing and testing RF systems and components.
The OneRY Range is a unique asset that operates at the leading edge of RF technology and houses some of the most capable RF test platforms in the Air Force. The Range is a test and research asset that functions to support AFRL, DAF, and the DoD in pursuing RF sensing superiority.
This position entails working in an active test environment that includes indoor and outdoor equipment and systems, often with RF tools and electrical components. The duties also include preparing test plans, coordinating with mission partners and working within a team of professionals to accomplish complex projects.

- This position is open to all qualified DR-02's at their current grade level, who meet the OPM qualification standards for the occupational series of 0801 (General Engineering); 0855 (Electronics Engineering); 1301 (General Physical Science); 1501 (Mathematics); or 1550 (Computer Science).

- Must be a United States Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with access to SCI as a condition of employment
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent will be subject to random testing.
- Ability to perform TDY travel approximately 10% time
- Experience in managing highly technical contracted projects
- Experience in coordination of classified projects and facilities
- Technical expertise in Testing and Evaluation of RF sensor systems and related technologies
- Experience working on matrixed teams or Integrated Product Teams (IPT's)
- Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills for technical and senior leader audiences
- This position is an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) position requiring Level II Non-Critical certification in Engineering and Technology Management (N). The selectee will have 60-months to meet APDP requirements or a waiver must be obtained. Applicants for this position must list any acquisition certifications and status as an acquisition corps member in their resume
