This job announcement will be accepting candidate submissions until 12 November 2024. The Air Force Office of Scientific Research, AFOSR/OMM, seeks to hire a mid-level DO-0343-02, Manpower and Military Personnel Analyst in Arlington, VA.
As Manpower and Military Personnel Analyst, serves as the Air Force Office of Scientific Research's (AFOSR) focal point for all military personnel and manpower-related matters.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
Directly implements changes to and maintains the overall accuracy of the Technical Directorate's (TD's) Unit Manning Document (UMD).
Maintains the technical accuracy of manpower-related data within the Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), Command Human Resources Intelligence System (CHRIS), and Resource Management Information System (RMIS).
Generates manpower, hierarchical, and position-related reports from the appropriate human resources information system and disseminates to stakeholders, upon request.
As Unit Deployment Manager, manages day-to-day aspects of AFOSR's unit personnel deployment needs and military personnel functions. Maintains close contact and liaison with the appropriate military installation's points of contact concerning military personnel management. Recommends written products (e.g., operating procedures, interpretive guidance, etc.) which address procedural, regulatory, and statutory requirements related to military personnel.
Serve as the Directorate-wide advisor on all matters concerning military personnel and readiness.
Recommends training required for stakeholders, as appropriate.
Establishes and sustains relationships with external stakeholders who exercise authority for key elements of AFOSR's military employment lifecycle.

- Required Qualifications:
- One year of specialized experience at broadband level I or GS-11 meets the minimum qualification requirement for broadband level II.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- The required one year of specialized experience may be gained from qualifying private sector service, military service, another qualifying pay plan, or the Lab Demo personnel system, separately or combined.
