Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Division lead responsible for current and out-year technology programs.
- Direct fundamental and applied research and development in high power electromagnetics and associated technologies.
- Directs strategic and financial planning for long-range technical objectives. Determines resource allocation, event milestones, schedule dates, suitability of approaches, and program timelines in project planning.
- Monitors and evaluates technical progress against goals, taking corrective action as required.
- Directs work through mid-level and first-level subordinate supervisors.
- Exercises authority and responsibility for recommending and/or approving personnel management actions.
- For civilian employees, establish performance standards, complete contribution assessments, facilitate pay pool meetings, and approve Statements of Duties and Experience (SDE).
- For division military personnel, write and review Officer Performance Reports, Promotion Recommendations and decorations; and conduct other activities related to ensuring good order and discipline.
- Generally maintain division discipline, interview employment candidates; and recommend appointments, promotions and reassignments.

- Required Qualifications:
- United States Citizenship
- TS/SCI eligible
- Technical degree
- Supervisory experience
- Experience leading large technology development efforts/programs
- Must be able to meet APDP Engineering and Technical Management (N) Practitioner certification requirements within 24 months.

- Demonstrated experience in high power electromagnetic systems development
- Experience leading a results-oriented team of diverse professionals
